To mitigate the effects of the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the outbreak, a temporary ban on entry to the EU via Sweden is in force. Due to the coronavirus and the temporary entry ban to Sweden, the Swedish Migration Agency has decided that the majority of visa applications will be rejected.
The Consulate General will be closed on July 1 and 2 due to the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China in the area where the Consulate General in situated. Access to our building will be very limited. We reopen on Monday, July 5.
From December 2019 onwards, the Consulate will no longer publish control numbers of received residence permit cards. Applicants will instead be automatically notified by the Migration Agency through email when their residence permit cards have arrived at the Consulate.
