Important changes to the Embassy's visiting and phone hours

14 Oct 2022

The Embassy has different visiting and phone hours for different types of cases. For reasons of efficiency, we are now modifying some of these to better be able to prioritise the consular work and the issuance of passports.

The general phone line is now open every weekday (except when the Embassy is closed due to bank holidays or similar) between 9am and 11am. The reception's visiting hours remain weekdays 9am to 12noon. Please note that the reception and general phone line can answer general questions about the work of the Embassy but can typically not answer questions about your specific case.

Visiting hours for pickup of passports are extended to include Thursdays 2pm to 3pm. You can continue to pick up passports Monday-Friday 9am to 12noon.

The passport telephone is closed until further notice. If you have questions about Swedish passports or booking an appointment, please see the extensive information on our website. If you cannot find the answer to your question here, please contact the Embassy via e-mail.

The migration telephone continues to be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays 2pm to 3pm. Please note that only questions about migration to Sweden are answered on the migration telephone.
