Regardless of whether you live in Sweden or the UK, you can apply for a passport/id-card at the Swedish Police. Please find information about applying for passports in Sweden, and how to book an appointment here.

Should you be unable to travel to Sweden to apply for a passport, the Embassy can offer a limited number of Swedish citizens the opportunity to renew their passports in London. Appointments at the Embassy in London can only be booked online and are released continuously for three months ahead.
High demand for appointments can sometimes lead to technical problems. Please ensure you have received a booking confirmation before attending your appointment at the Embassy.
