Passport abroad

Regardless of whether you live in Sweden or the UK, you can apply for a passport/id-card at the Swedish Police. Please find information about applying for passports in Sweden, and how to book an appointment here.

If you apply for a passport in Sweden, you can ask to have it sent to the UK for collection. More information about collecting your passport here.

The Embassy can offer a limited number of Swedish citizens the opportunity to renew their passports in London. Please find instructions how to book these appoinstments here (only in Swedish).
