You can apply for a passport or ID card at the Embassy of Sweden in London, in another Swedish Embassy or at the Police in Sweden. If you apply for a passport in another country you can still collect it from the Embassy in London.
It is often a faster och cheaper process to apply for a passport in Sweden, more info about this on the Swedish Police's webbsite.
Those who also have British citizenship or valid Indefinite Leave to Remain do not need to apply. However, if you have Indefinite Leave to Remain we recommend you to apply for EU Settled Status.

In accordance with the Swedish passport law, we are unable to send passports/ID cards via post.
Anyone over 18 must collect their passport/ID card in person.

No, you cannot apply for a Swedish passport online. You have to book an appointment online, and come to the Embassy in person.

No, you can travel to Sweden with a valid Swedish passport.
During the current entry ban, Swedish citizens with valid Swedish passports are allowed entry to Sweden. They must, however, comply with the UK Government's rules regarding travels during lockdown. See the UK Government's website for more information.
The entry ban to Sweden is in effect for non-Swedish citizens who travel to Sweden from the United Kingdom, with some exceptions. Please see the Embassy's travel advice more information.
