Government to attend opening session of UN General Assembly in New York

On 22–28 September, the opening of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly will be marked at the UN Headquarters in New York. The high-level General Debate and several high-level meetings will be held in conjunction with the opening session. The Government will be represented by Minister for Foreign Affairs Maria Malmer Stenergard and Minister for Social Affairs and Public Health Jakob Forssmed. Ms Malmer Stenergard is leading Sweden’s delegation.
