As of 1st of September 2019 all the migration related matters that are currently handled by the Embassy in Ankara will be transferred to the Consulate General of Sweden in Istanbul.

    On the occasion of famous Swedish director Ingmar Bergman's 100th birthyear, the exhibition 'Ingmar Bergman and His Legacy in Fashion and Art' was premiered in Ankara between 2-17 November 2018 at Ankara Cankaya Municipality, Zülfü Livaneli Culture Center with the inauguration of the Ambassador of Sweden, Mrs. Annika Molin Hellgren.
