No entry ban from 1 April

The entry ban ended 31 March 2022, meaning that no corona specific entry restrictions are in effect from 1 April 2022. Negative test or vaccine certificates are not required to enter Sweden.

Important

As of 1st of September 2019 all the migration related matters that were handled by the Embassy in Ankara has been transferred to the Consulate General of Sweden in Istanbul. This means that it is no longer possible to contact the Embassy in Ankara to hand in an application for residence permit or to book a time for an interview. Please refer to the Consulate General in Istanbul instead (migration.istanbul@gov.se).
