Before you visit the Embassy to apply for/renew a passport/ID-card, you must book an appointment online and complete all necessary documentation.
Booking an appointment for passport, id-card or coordination number can only be done online via the Swedish Migration Board’s website. Bookable appointments are released continuously. If no available appointments are shown I the calendar that means we are fully booked. Find the link to the booking platform via the checklist.
Before attending your booked appointment, it is important to make sure you have completed all necessary documentation. What documentation is needed depends on your errand:
Please ensure you cancel your appointment if you can no longer attend. That way, the slot can be used by someone else in need.
You can apply for a passport or id-card at the Embassy in London, another Swedish Embassy, or with the passport police in Sweden. If you apply for a passport in Sweden or another Embassy than London, you can still collect it in the UK. If you want to collect the passport/id-card at one of the consulates in the UK you must contact the Embassy in London and request it.
