Here is a summary of the Embassy's opening hours during the Christmas season 2022-2023.
The reception and the phone for general enquiries are open as usual during weekdays, i.e. is closed on 24 Dec - 27 Dec and 31 Dec - 2 Jan.
The consular section, including the passport operations, is open on weekdays as usual except during 24 Dec - 27 Dec and 31 Dec - 2 Jan. Do keep in mind that a lot of people visit the Embassy between Christmas and New Year which means that you may need to wait for longer than normal when collecting your passport or applying for an emergency passport.
Collection of passports is closed in the afternoon on 29 Dec and 5 Jan. Collection of passports are open as usual in the mornings (9am - 12noon) on the days the Embassy is open.
The migration phone is closed on 22 Dec, 29 Dec and 5 Jan. Apart from that, the migration section is open as usual (e.g. closed 24 Dec - 27 Dec and 31 Dec - 2 Jan).
The Embassy's email is attended to as usual on weekdays between 9am - 4.30pm, e.g. not attended to on 24 Dec - 27 Dec and 31 Dec - 2 Jan. Remember to read through the automatic reply you get every time you email the Embassy as you will not get a personalised reply if your question is answered there.
