Requirement for a negative covid-19 test when entering Sweden

22 Dec 2021

The Government has today decided on changes to the travel bans to Sweden. The changes mean that all travelers must be able to show a negative test result for ongoing covid-19 infection upon arrival in Sweden, regardless of which country they travel from. The reasons for the decision are the increasing spread of infection and a request from the Swedish Public Health Agency. The changes will take effect on 28 December.
