Riksdagsval 2022 - rösta från utlandet
Med anledning av val till riksdag, kommun- och landstingsfullmäktige den 11 september 2022 kommer generalkonsulatet ha röstmottagning för de som önskar att rösta. På Valmyndighetens hemsida finns information om hur man går tillväga för att rösta utomlands.
Öppettider för röstning
Notera gärna att dessa öppettider gäller röstmottagning, och att tidsbokning fortfarande gäller för andra konsulära ärenden.
Ta med dig giltig ID-handling, såsom pass, svenskt körkort alternativt lokal officiell legitimation. Du behöver inte ha med dig röstkort för att förtidsrösta på konsulatet, men det underlättar om du har det.
Om du har varit utskriven ur Sverige i 10 år och vill rösta i valet 2022 behöver du anmäla dig till röstlängden för att finnas kvar i den och för att få röstkort och material för brevröstning skickat till dig. Röstlängden som upprättas inför varje val grundas på de uppgifter som finns i Skatteverkets folkbokföringsregister 30 dagar före valdagen. Du anmäler dig till röstlängden genom att använda Skatteverkets blankett som heter Ny adress/röstlängd för utvandrad (SKV 7842.pdf).
Du kan även brevrösta. Brevröster kan skickas tidigast den 28 juli. Du som vill brevrösta måste se till att din röst kommit fram senast den 9 september. Mer information om brevröstning finner du här. Vänligen iaktta att generalkonsulatet INTE tar emot brevröster.

Swedish General Election 2022
The 2022 Swedish general election to the parliament, city and county is scheduled for 11th of September 2022. Information on how to vote while abroad can be found on the Electoral Authority's website. Swedish citizens living abroad can vote at the Consulate General of Sweden in Hong Kong.
Opening hours for the Election are:
Please bring your Swedish Passport/ Swedish ID-Card, your Swedish driving license or a recognised local identification as well as a valid voting card. If you have not recieved a voting card, you can still vote at the Consulate General.
You must apply to the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket) every ten years to be included on the electoral roll for a further ten years. Before the election, the Election Authority (Valmyndigheten) sends out expatriate voting cards and postal voting materials to all Swedes who are listed with the Tax Agency as resident outside Sweden 30 days before election. In order to be included on the electoral roll you must complete the form "Ny adress/röstlängd för utvandrad" and send it to the Swedish Tax Agency (SKV 7842.pdf).
Postal voting is possible from the 28th of July. You must make sure that your vote will have arrived by the 9th of September. You can find more information about early voting by clicking here. Please observe that you CANNOT hand in your postal vote at the Consulate General.
