The Consulate General is open for consular services, including passports. Phone hours are between 2 pm - 3 pm, Monday - Friday. To mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the Consulate General has implemented several precautionary measures to ensure the health and welfare of our community. We follow the guidelines from local authorities. All visitors are required to schedule appointments using our online booking system.
The Consulate General is open 9 am - 4 pm, with specific hours for visitors.

Please note that you cannot apply for/renew a passport during reception visiting hours.

Changes in New York State Quarantine Regulations
As of April 10, 2021, asymptomatic travelers entering New York from another country, U.S. state, or territory are no longer required to test or quarantine (read more here). Check to find out whether you must fill out a Traveler Health form online. All travelers are required to comply with public health orders such as wearing a face mask, maintaining 6-feet social distancing and avoiding public spaces as much as possible.
In case of an emergency outside regular office hours, please call the Consulate General and follow the instructions to be connected to a 24/7 duty officer in Stockholm.
