New York State Quarantine Exception
As of June 25, New York State is requiring individuals traveling from states that have been identified as having a significant degree of community-wide spread of COVID-19 to self-quarantine for 14 days.  Please note that the US Department of State has confirmed that the NY Governor’s Office regards travel to obtain foreign passports as essential, and individuals entering New York State for this purpose are not subject to the 14-day self-quarantine requirement, provided they arrive and leave right away with no incidental travel (no tourist or other leisure actives, etc.) Also, travelers coming to New York from designated states through any means of transport, including trains and cars, must fill out a Traveler Health form online. All travelers are required to comply with public health orders such as wearing a face mask, maintaining 6-feet social distancing and avoiding public spaces as much as possible.

In case of an emergency outside regular office hours, please call the Consulate General and follow the instructions to be connected to a 24/7 duty officer in Stockholm.
