The Embassy has been made aware of individuals falsely claiming to represent the Swedish Migration Agency or the Embassy of Sweden in Islamabad. These individuals may assert that, in exchange for payment, they can secure earlier interview appointments at the Embassy or influence the outcome of residence permit applications.
The Embassy wishes to clarify that it has no affiliation with any individuals or companies offering such services for payment. All appointments related to residence permits are arranged exclusively by the Embassy, prioritized in order and are provided free of charge. Please also note that we do not use WhatsApp for official communication when handling cases.
The Embassy of Sweden in Islamabad is the sole authority responsible for handling residence permit applications on behalf of the Swedish Migration Agency. Anyone who becomes aware of individuals misrepresenting Swedish authorities, or suspects attempts to request payment for services related to the application process, is encouraged to report the matter directly to the Embassy.
