Travel to Sweden

For Swedes and other persons who are entitled to enter the Schengen area (special conditions apply because of Covid-19), it is now possible to fly home from Jordan with the state-owned company Royal Jordanian.

It should now be possible to fly home from Amman to various destinations in Europe. Airline Royal Jordanian has started selling tickets at https://www.rj.com and by phone +962 (0) 6 510 0000. Prices are stated on the website.

Example: Istanbul on May 5, 6 and 7, London on May 6 and 7, or Frankfurt on May 7. Tickets for direct flights to Copenhagen will also be sold, departing from May 24.

For further flights to Sweden, you can search for tickets through a travel agency or by booking online at, for example, Skyscanner (https://skyscanner.se) or Momondo (https://momondo.se).

It is each passenger's own responsibility to have valid travel documents and knowledge of applicable travel and entry restrictions to Sweden. Anyone leaving Jordan is encouraged to report it in the add "UD Resklar" so that the name does not remain on the Swedish list.
