Study+Work in Sweden in Sapporo 2026

16 Jun 2026, 3.00 PM

Launched in 2024, Study+Work in Sweden aims to showcase the value of studying in Sweden and the opportunities available at Swedish companies. The event has been held in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka, and this year we are pleased to extend the outreach to Hokkaido in collaboration with Hokkaido University.

The program consists of three parts designed to offer practical information, personal guidance, and opportunities for networking.

Event Overview

Part 1: Individual Consultations

Participants will have the opportunity to speak directly with representatives from the Embassy of Sweden and Swedish universities. These one-on-one consultations provide tailored guidance on study options, applications, scholarships, and career pathways connected to Sweden.

Part 2: Seminar Session

Representatives from Swedish universities, company partners, and former exchange students will deliver presentations offering firsthand perspectives on studying and working in Sweden.

Part 3: Networking Event

An informal networking session will bring together companies, alumni, prospective students, and university staff.

Participating institutions from Sweden include Lund University, Jönköping University, Stockholm University, Halmstad University and the University of Gothenburg.

Participants will also receive printed materials and guides on studying and working in Sweden.

Target Audience

  • Individuals who have previously studied at a Swedish institution
  • Individuals considering studies in Sweden
