Visa applications are made by appointment at the Swedish Visa Application Center operated by VFS Global. This means that in most cases you do not have to visit the Consulate in person.

The fastest way is to send your appeals to us by email. Sending it by regular mail or deliver it in person may extend the processing time at the Consulate. Learn more about appeals.
Visa durations for approved applications are granted in accordance with the Cascade rule. Learn more about the Cascade rule.
If the visa you have received complies with the Cascade rule and covers the dates of your first trip that you have submitted in your application, you need to submit a new application for your future trips.
