To apply for a Swedish ordinary passport or national ID card at the Embassy of Sweden in Canberra, you must have a booked appointment. Bookings, changes, and cancellations are made via the Embassy's online booking system.

To book an appointment to apply for a Swedish ordinary passport or national ID card for yourself or your child, the applicant must:
The applicant's own personal identity number or coordination number must be provided when making the appointment. If you are waiting to be assigned a coordination number, you can book an appointment for a passport or national ID card application only after the number has been issued.
If you are unable to attend your appointment, or if you no longer need it, please reschedule or cancel it so that the appointment can be made available to someone else.
Appointments for applications for a Swedish ordinary passport or national ID card in Australia are made through the Embassy's online booking system: Book, reschedule, or cancel an appointment.
If no appointments are available, all currently released appointment slots have been booked. Please check again at a later date. Cancelled appointments automatically become available for new bookings.
New appointments are released regularly, usually around 2-3 months in advance. The Embassy cannot provide advance notice regarding when new appointments will be released or which dates and times will become available.
Appointments cannot be booked by telephone or email.
