The Embassy of Sweden in Lusaka is launching a new initiative targeting the mining sector with the overall objective to inspire Zambia to become a world-class leader in green copper production.
The initiative will kick off with a high-level forum in Kitwe, 9 November 2023, bringing together experts, companies, and government representatives from Zambia and Sweden.
The high level forum is a platform for networking, learning, exchange experiences, and to do business with one another. The forum is carried out in collaboration with Business Sweden and with support from the Ministry of Mines and Mineral Development-Zambia.
The Swedish - Zambian Forum on Sustainable Mining will be held in Kitwe on November 9.
