The Embassy of Sweden in Lusaka is launching a new initiative targeting the mining sector with the overall objective to inspire Zambia to become a world-class leader in green copper production.
The initiative will kicked off with the Swedish - Zambian Forum on Sustainable Mining held in Kitwe on November 9, 2023. The forum, carried out in collaboration with Business Sweden and with support from the Ministry of Mines and Mineral Development-Zambia, brought together experts, companies, and government representatives from Zambia and Sweden.
