We are recruiting two CARETAKERS to join our existing team
The caretakers are two newly established roles at the Embassy and are organizationally part of the Operational Support Department. Each caretaker has their own areas of responsibility, but they also act as a secondary backup for each other and work closely together in carrying out their tasks. Please note: Both positions involve physically demanding duties, including regular heavy lifting, such as replacing water drums and moving furniture.
Additional duties may be assigned as required.
Main tasks that will be divided between the two roles
Take overall responsibility for property and fleet management. This includes carrying out minor repairs, handling basic property maintenance (e.g. replacing light bulbs, mounting equipment, moving furniture), and coordinating with the landlord on premises-related issues. Ensure that vehicles are clean, maintained, and fit for purpose, including managing insurance, spare parts, tires, and arranging repairs and transport to/from workshops.
Maintain fuel supplies and oversee generators.
Provide mutual support across both property and fleet responsibilities as needed.

Terms of employment
We offer an interesting work atmosphere at a foreign diplomatic mission. The employment is a full-time position with 40 working hours per week from Monday to Friday. The successful candidate will be subject to a professional background check and satisfactory security clearance, with a probation period of three (3) calendar months. Staff recruited locally are subject to terms and conditions according to Ukrainian employment law and Swedish MFA guidance for local staff.
Benefits of the job include 28 vacation days (counted as working days), wellness grant, health insurance, eligibility for Swedish pension after 5 years of working.
Start date by agreement.
