The Embassy of Sweden in Kyiv is a mission with 60 employees and has a geographical scope that covers the whole of Ukraine. We are now recruiting an EMBASSY DRIVER.

Main tasks

The embassy driver will primarily conduct passenger transport in Kyiv, driving embassy staff to meetings and events. Other logistical tasks such as transport of goods occur. Driving duties may include field trips in other parts of Ukraine, and occasionally neighbouring countries. Such trips include staying overnight and inconvenient working hours. Part of the job is to maintain the embassy vehicle fleet, and other similar work tasks might be assigned to the driver. Working hours according to rolling schedule (office hours, evenings, weekends, compensation free time).


  • Driving license category B
  • Proficiency in English
  • At least 2 years of experience as a professional driver
  • Good knowledge of Kyiv city
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft office


  • Driving license category C1
  • Experience in driving armoured/heavy vehicles
  • Security/tactical driving training
  • Experience from work in comparable facilities such as embassies or international organizations.

Personal eligibility

Good judgement, flexibility, good problem-solving skills, and good ability to work in a team.

Terms of employment

The employment is a full-time position with access from 1st of September or per agreement. There will be a probation period of three (3) months.
