Yesterday Ambassador Ola Sohlström presented the Letters of Credence from His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf to Her Excellency Ms. Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova, President of the Republic of North Macedonia.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Sohlström noted the excellent bilateral relations, and that in today’s troubled world, the partnership between Sweden and North Macedonia is more important than ever. Ambassador Sohlström outlined also his key priorities for the coming years, namely to
1. Strengthen the political partnership, including as Allies in NATO and through support for North Macedonia’s journey towards EU integration and accession.
2. Promote trade, investment and growth, in both countries
3. Promote the already strong people-to-people contacts.
