Focus on the Nordic and Baltic regions as Sweden holds three leadership roles in 2024. Watch the clip with Tobias Billström, Minister for Foreign Affairs, as he introduces the Swedish Presidency of the Nordic Council and the Nordic-Baltic cooperation formats N5 and NB8.
"The cooperation between the Nordic and Nordic-Baltic countries is central to deal with both regional and global challenges", says Mr Billström, introducing the programme for Sweden's upcoming period as chair of the Nordic Council and the Nordic-Baltic cooperation.
Sweden will hold the Presidency of the Nordic Council of Ministers and chair the informal Nordic and Nordic-Baltic foreign and security policy cooperation formats – N5 and NB8 – in 2024. Nordic cooperation is one of the oldest cooperation formats in the world. We will work to strengthen Nordic cooperation and its position as one of the most innovative and competitive regions in the world.
