The embassy will return to regular visiting and telephone hours as of 13 April. Please note that the embassy will be closed to visitors on 16 April. During April, priority will be given to rescheduling appointments that were cancelled in March, and new appointments for May will be released on 13 April. Please note that the embassy will be closed to visitors on Thursday, 16 April, due to previously scheduled internal activities. The embassy can, however, always be reached by email during office hours.
During April, the embassy will prioritize customers whose appointments for regular passport applications, coordination numbers, and retention of Swedish citizenship were cancelled in March. These individuals will be contacted individually to reschedule their appointments.

The embassy will release new appointment slots for May on Monday, 13 April. Once you have completed the form Information for investigation of Swedish citizenship and have the necessary certificates regarding your citizenship, you can book an appointment via our website. It is not possible to book an appointment by telephone or email.
The embassy would like to remind applicants that they must arrive well prepared for their scheduled appointment. If, at the time of application, it becomes apparent that the required forms have not been completed or the requested certificates cannot be presented, the embassy will not be able to process the case. In such instances, you may need to book a new appointment when they become available.
