Urgent consular matters:

Members of the public may contact the Consulate General in urgent consular cases, such as death, serious illness, or deprivation of liberty, by telephone at +91 98195 14916 or by email at consulategeneral.mumbai@gov.se during regular office hours (09:00–17:30).

Outside office hours, the public may contact the Ministry for Foreign Affairs’ Consular Emergency Service by telephone at +46 8 405 50 05 or by email at ud-jouren@gov.se.

Email inquiries, including consular matters, are handled Monday to Friday during regular office hours.

Visas

The Consulate General does not handle any visa applications and cannot answer queries regarding the status of visa applications.
