Last week, the Consulate General of Sweden in Shanghai took part in the programme when the management of Business Sweden Asia-Pacific gathered in China from January 27-29.

On 27 January, we joined the delegation in Hangzhou, a leading technology and innovation hub, for meetings with some of China’s most prominent tech companies, including Alibaba Group, Unitree Robotics and Geely. Discussions focused on current developments and outlooks within AI, robotics, automotive and the evolving consumer landscape in China.

On 28 January, the Consul General hosted a breakfast gathering at the new Swedish Residence in Shanghai for the delegation and the Swedish business community in Shanghai. The morning provided an opportunity for market updates on recent developments in the region, followed by networking.
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all states in the world, with embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
