On 13 April, the Government presented its Spring Budget. In an uncertain international situation, Sweden continues to stand strong with an economy that is trending upward. The budget includes measures worth SEK 7.7 billion in 2026 and focuses on building a stronger and more secure Sweden.
“Sweden is on the right track. In spite of war and international uncertainty, the Swedish economy is strong, and we are continuing to fortify it. For the recovery to gain momentum here at home, we need to instil confidence in the future among Sweden’s hard-working people,” says Minister for Finance Elisabeth Svantesson.
