Residents of Canada are exempted from the entry ban to Sweden.

The non-essential travel ban (avrådan) for travels from Sweden to Canada is lifted (8/7-2021). Residents of Canada are exempted the temporary entry ban to Sweden (12/7-2021).

As of Thursday the 8th of July 2021, the travel ban (avrådan) for travels from Sweden to Canada is lifted. If you are planning to travel to Canada, kindly consult information from the Government of Canada, as there are entry restrictions in place. More information here:

As of Monday the 12th of July 2021, Residents of Canada are exempted from the temporary entry ban for Sweden.

Please note that as a visitor to Sweden you always need to fulfill the entry requirements given in the Schengen Border Code and the Visa Code
