Moving to someone in Sweden

If you wish to move to Sweden to live with a close family member, you need to obtain a residence permit. The permit must be granted before you enter Sweden. Different rules apply to citizens of other EU/EEA countries.

How to apply?

The easiest way to apply for a residence permit is online through the Swedish Migration Agency website. The Swedish Migration Agency is responsible for processing all residence permit applications.
