Passports in South Africa

You can apply for your passport in Sweden and collect it at the Embassy in Pretoria or at the Consulate in Cape Town, Gaborone or Windhoek.

If you apply for your passport at the Embassy in Pretoria or in Sweden, and would like to collect the passport at one of our Consulates there is an additional shipping and processing fee, see the heading "Consular & migration application fees" at the left hand side (payable at the time of application or in advance).

The passport fee can be paid by Visa or MasterCard at the Embassy when you apply, or by advanced payment to the Embassy's bank account, see below. Please bring proof of payment with you.
