Embassy routines and opening hours during the COVID-19 outbreak
The embassy'stelephone hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am - 12 pm. The embassy’s phone number is 613-244 82 00. When the Embassy's switch board is closed, you will be connected to the consular hotline of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs (+46 8 405 50 05).
For the time being, the embassy only accepts visits by appointment for urgent matters. Please call or send an e-mail to the Embassy.
Due to covid-related restrictions, the Embassy will only be able to receive urgent passport applications. To be considered urgent your current passport can only have less than three months validity. Please book your appointment in our online system.
If your passport is not urgent your appointment will have to be postponed.
If you have questions regarding travel and the new corona virus, the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs has a special COVID-19 hotline (+46 8 405 92 00).

The embassy is closed during the following dates in 2020: January 1 and 7, February 17, April 10, 13, May 1, May 18, July 1, August 3, September 7, October 12, December 24 and 25, December 31.
