Vaccination Certificate issued in Georgia valid for entry to Sweden from 30 November. Only for fully vaccinated persons and at least 14 days after the date of the last dose was given.

26 nov 2021

The Swedish Government has decided that fully vaccinated people travelling to Sweden who can present a vaccination certificate issued in Georgia are exempt from the entry ban and test requirement. Children under the age of 18 travelling together with such a person are also exempt from the entry ban and test requirement. This amendment will enter into force on 30 November 2021. If you are not fully vaccinated and want to travel to Sweden from Georgia, the entry ban still applies and entry can only be permitted  to persons who fall under one of the other exemptions from the entry ban.

It is the responsibility of the enforcing authorities (primarily the Swedish Police Authority) to determine in each individual case how the exemptions are to be interpreted and which decisions are to be made. We refer to the Swedish Police Authority for information about the practical application of these rules.
