The Embassy of Sweden in Hanoi has an opening for a temporary Receptionist and Administrative Assistant. The position plays a central role in the Embassy’s daily operations and serves as the first point of contact for visitors.
We seek a professional, service‑oriented individual with strong administrative and organizational skills who contributes to a welcoming and well‑functioning office environment.
In this position, your duties include handling inquiries in person and by telephone, receiving visitors and deliveries, as well as supporting colleagues with a variety of service-related tasks. The work may include drafting and translating documents, maintaining contact with authorities and other foreign missions, as well as assisting in the planning and implementation of the Embassy’s various events. The position requires the ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a small team.

The position is a temporary full-time position, starting as soon as possible and ending on 31st of December 2026.
The Embassy welcomes applicants from a variety of backgrounds who demonstrate strong administrative skills. A security and background check will be required before employment.
