On September 13th 2026, there will be a general election in Sweden. The Consulate General in Houston will organize voter registration and postal voting for Swedish citizens living in Texas for this general election. All Swedish citizens over the age of 18 who have ever been registered in Sweden are allowed to vote.
You can vote early in Houston, Austin and Dallas during the following days and times.
Eleiko Sport Inc. in Austin
Voting will take place at Eleiko Sport Inc., on the main floor. Address: 3910 S. Industrial Dr, suite 100, Austin, Texas 78744. Please follow the sign at the entrance. Parking at Eleiko Sport Inc, is available outside the building.
The Honorary Consulate of Sweden in Dallas
Voting will take place in the conference room on main floor. Address: 6301 Gaston Avenue, West Tower, Dallas, Texas 75214. Please follow the sign at the entrance. Parking is available behind the building, off Alderson St. (at Oram St.). Enter the building at the entrance marked “Caddo”.

Anyone abroad can vote by mail. You can obtain materials for voting by mail from the Consulate General in Houston and the Honorary Consulate in Dallas.
If you want to vote by mail from abroad, you can send your vote by mail no earlier than July 27. Votes received by mail before July 30 will not be valid.
