Opening hours

Our office is open weekdays 8 am - 4.30 pm. Visitors are only accepted by appointment. Email your request to book an appointment.

The Consulate General is open for passport pickup on a drop-in basis

Once your passport /national ID card have been received at the Consulate General of Sweden in Houston, an automated email will be sent confirming that your new passport has arrived and is ready for collection. No appointment is necessary. Please bring your previous passport or valid form of identification if your previous passport has expired.

Starting September 15th 2026 passport/NID can be picked up on Tuesdays (except public holidays) between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm, and on Thursdays (except public holidays) between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
