"Bergman Revisited" at Cinématte, Bern (15 March)

15 Mar 2019

Ingmar Bergman would have turned 100 years old in 2018. On this occasion, contemporary Swedish filmmakers produced six short films that explore Bergman’s influence on their work.

The result is a diverse group of films ranging from Bergmanesque drama to animated satire. A must-see for art film lovers, not to mention for Bergman fans.

The films:
Pernilla August and Cilla Naumann („Scenes from the Night"), Linus Tunström („Ariel"), Jane Magnusson and Liv Strömquist („Vox Lipoma"), Lisa Aschan and Isabel Cruz Liljegren („God's Silence"), Patrik Eklund („The Infection") plus Tomas Alfredson and Jesper Waldersten („Bergman's Reliquarium").
