On the 2-3 of April, the embassy had the pleasure of welcoming Dr. Kalle Conneryd Lundgren, senior consultant and advisor to the CEO at Karolinska University Hospital, to Singapore.
Dr Lundgren was invited to Singapore to speak at HI.TEC (Healthcare Infrastructure Technology & Engineering Conference) on the theme “transformation for digital delivery”, organised by MOH Holdings and the Ministry of Health, with Team Sweden acting as a supporting organization. Dr. Lundgren’s presentation focused on the transformation and new operational model of health care at Karolinska hospital. He also took part in a panel discussion to share healthcare experiences from Sweden. In addition, the two Swedish healthcare companies Elekta and Getinge exhibited at the conference.
Dr Lundgren also met with several key stakeholders from the health care sector to share experiences on care delivery models pertaining to digitalization and informatics.
The visit was concluded with a reception at the Swedish residence, jointly hosted by Ambassador Niclas Kvarnström and Ms Paula Parviainen, Ambassador of Finland.
