Temporary entry ban to Sweden

To mitigate the effects of the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the outbreak, a temporary ban on entry to the EU via Sweden is in force. The Government has decided to extend the entry ban until 22 December 2020. Due to the coronavirus and the temporary entry ban to Sweden, the Swedish Migration Agency has decided that the majority of visa applications will be rejected. This applies if you wish to visit Sweden and are a citizen of a country outside the EU.

Limited opening hours - Covid-19

Due to the Covid-19 situation, the embassy has limited opening hours. From March 23rd the embassy has the following opening hours: Monday 10-12 Wednesday 14-15 Friday 10-12 Questions? Email ambassaden.oslo@gov.se or call +47 24 11 42 00. The embassy is aware that the opening hours on Google are wrong. We are working on a solution.
