Rättviksärten has been grown in Dalarna since Gustav Vasa ruled over Sweden (late 16th century). All soy that we or our breeders use is GMO-free and certified according to Pro Terra or RTRS. We are also active members of the Soybean Dialogue, joining Swedish feed companies, food producers, interest groups and trading companies, as well as the World Wide Fund for Nature / WWF. The agreement means that 100 percent of the soy used in food from the signed companies must be responsibly produced. We also set an early goal to remove all palm oil in our own production and have implemented this. Today, all products from our own facilities are completely palm oil-free. Overuse of antibiotics and the development of resistant bacteria is one of the most important and serious health issues of our time. We have clear guidelines regarding the use of antibiotics for our own breeding and we place the same demands on our suppliers.
