The ambassador of Sweden introduced the breakfast with invited Swedish companies by addressing the work they do to support the sustainable development goals.
During the event a sustainable business network for Swedish companies was introduced which will arrange meetings focusing on the different SDGs and help companies develop their competences even further when it comes to complying with the goals.
There was a discussion regarding different issues companies are facing in Mozambique and solutions were shared in between the participants. It was stressed that it is important to share experience and tips. During the event the initiation of the work to promote the Swedish concept called “Smart City” was presented as a way of opening up for new sustainable business opportunities.
Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all States in the world. It has embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
