As a Swedish citizen to get married in Mozambique with a Mozambican citizen, one need to get a marriage license and a birth certificate in English. This can be obtain from the Swedish Tax Agency upon request. These documents then has to be legalized by the Swedish Embassy in Maputo or the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, translated into Portuguese by an authorized translator in Mozambique and authorized by Mozambican authorities. We suggest that you contact the Conservatoria do Registro Civil for further assistance regarding the matrimony.
If you are not an EU-citizen and want to visit Sweden you might need a visa. Visa is required for citizens from these countries.
