As a Swedish citizen to get married in Mozambique with a Mozambican citizen, one needs to get a marriage license and a birth certificate in English. This can be obtained from the Swedish Tax Agency upon request. These documents then have to be legalized by the Swedish Embassy in Maputo or the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, translated into Portuguese by an authorized translator in Mozambique and authorized by Mozambican authorities.
