A legalisation is intended to prove that a document having a signature of an official. A legalisation does not constitute a confirmation of the content of the document, but merely authorizes an official's signature and jurisdiction. The Embassy only legalises documents that are already legalised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuala Lumpur or by the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Embassy does not legalise, for example, Extract of Population issued by the Swedish Tax Agency.
