The staff at the Consulate General consists of personnel from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, The Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and locally empolyed staff.
H.E. Ms. Sophie Becker is since 15 August 2025 the Counsul General.

Sweden has diplomatic relations with almost all states in the world, with embassies and consulates in around half of these. Sweden's foreign representation consists of approximately 100 missions abroad and 350 honorary consulates.
