The Embassy would like to remind all passport applicants to prepare their application before their visit. At present, the Embassy cannot offer additional passport appointments because booked times are being used to complete the required forms on site.
On the Embassy’s webpages Passport renewal for Adults - Sweden Abroad and Passport renewal for Children - Sweden Abroad, you will find all application requirements as well as what must be prepared before the visit.
For every application, the form “Background data for investigation of Swedish citizenship” must be completed. This is required because you must prove how and when you acquired Swedish citizenship and that you have not lost it. All fields in the form must be filled in carefully; therefore, it is important that you prepare and complete the form in advance.
You must also bring the certificate "Confirmation of non-acquisition of Israeli citizenship" or "Certificate Attesting Israeli Citizenship", issued by the Israeli Ministry of Interior.
For children under 18, the consent of the legal guardians is required. The consent form must be completed and witnessed by a witness before the visit. The Embassy can also witness the signatures if both guardians are present and sign the consent form on site.
Bring your Swedish passport and any Israeli passports. This also applies to guardians if the passport renewal concerns a minor.
The Embassy reserves the right to reprioritize appointments or reschedule you to another day if the passport application is not complete at the time of your appointment.
