EU-förordningen om covidbevis sträcker sig till den 30 juni 2023. Det innebär att E-hälsomyndigheten upphör med att utfärda covidbevis den 1 juli 2023.
WHO meddelade i maj sin bedömning att covid-19 inte längre uppfyller villkoren för att betraktas som ett internationellt akut hot mot människors hälsa. Därmed förlängs inte EU-förordningen om covidbevis.
I och med att lagstöd för att utfärda covidbevis inte längre finns i Sverige från den 1 juli 2023, upphör E‑hälsomyndigheten att utfärda bevisen den dagen.
