The Embassy of Sweden in BiH strongly condemns hate crimes against members of the LGBTIQ community

30 Apr 2019

The Embassy of Sweden in Bosnia and Herzegovina strongly condemns the recent hate crimes against members of the LGBTIQ community after the announcement of the first ever Pride March taking place in Sarajevo in September 2019. The most recent incident was on Friday April 26 when a lesbian couple, including a Swedish citizen, was attacked in the central part of Sarajevo. We call on the authorities to investigate and prosecute the perpetrators.
