Temporary entry ban to Sweden

To mitigate the effects of the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the outbreak, a temporary ban on entry to the EU via Sweden is in force. Due to the coronavirus and the temporary entry ban to Sweden, the Swedish Migration Agency has decided that the majority of visa applications will be rejected.

On 3 February, the Government decided on amendments to regulations for entering Sweden. A general requirement for a negative covid-19 test is introduced and foreign nationals who is 18 years or older. The negative covid-19 test must not be older than 48 hours.
