On 18 January, the Government decided to return to the entry restrictions that applied before 28 December 2021. This means that the special requirement for a negative covid-19 test performed within 48 hours before entry is removed. The reasons for the decision are a request from the Swedish Public Health Agency. The list of countries with approved vaccination certificates is also expanded. The changes will take effect on January 21.
