A position as Driver/Administrative Assistant at the Embassy of Sweden in Tirana is now vacant. Application should be submitted no later than 16 November 2025.
The Embassy is recruiting a locally employed staff member for the position of Driver/Administrative Assistant, starting in January 2026. The position is full-time and permanent, with a six-month probation period.
The role includes driving the Embassy vehicle in Tirana as well as in other parts of Albania. The selected candidate will be responsible for the Embassy vehicles, including insurance and maintenance. The candidate will also assist with administrative and security-related tasks, including occasional practical duties related to the daily operations of the Embassy.
Qualifications:
We are looking for a candidate with relevant experience in similar tasks, strong local knowledge of Albania, and a high sense of responsibility. Good collaboration skills, flexibility, and discretion are essential qualities for the role. The position requires someone who is comfortable performing a variety of tasks that may involve active participation in both office and operational matters. Good administrative and communication skills and knowledge and experience of commonly used computer software and functions are also required. Fluency in oral and written English and Albanian. Desirable: Possession of a Category D driving license.
