Apply for a visa to Sweden

Important information

From 15th of March 2017 applications for Schengen visa to Sweden is handled by the Embassy of Sweden in Bangkok. 

Services to applicants will be provided by VFS Global offices in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh city just as before. Please visit the VFS Global website for the application centre's address, opening hours and other practical information: https://www.vfsglobal.se/Vietnam/index.html

In addition to regular visa fee, VFS Global charges 29 Euros for service fee and 21 Euros for courier fee.

Since 14 November 2013, all applicants applying for a Schengen visa must submit biometric data: ten fingerprints and a digital photo. The biometric data is stored in the Visa Information System (VIS), which is an IT-system that allows Schengen States to exchange visa data. Regarding agencies

Please note that the Embassy only cooperates with VFS Global. The Embassy has nothing to do with sellers or agencies outside the premises of the Embassy or the VFS Global offices, who offer services. No agencies can influence either the processing period or the decision.
