Applying for a Visa to Sweden

If you want to visit Sweden and you are a citizen of a country outside the EU, you may need to apply for a visa.

If you have a residence permit in the United Arab Emirates, and wish to travel to Sweden, you can submit your visa application together with required documents in person to the VFS Global in Abu Dhabi or Dubai, after having booked an appointment through the booking system at the homepage of VFS. The visa application centres are located at World Trade Centre Mall, Level B2 (Lower Ground), Khalifa Bin Zayed The 1st Street (Airport Road) in Abu Dhabi and Wafi Mall, Level 2 in Dubai.

If you live in Bahrain and wish to apply for a visa for Sweden, the Embassy of Germany in Manama will examine your visa application, after having submitted it at the VFS Global.

If you live in Qatar or Kuwait, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands will examine the application for a visa for Sweden, after having submitted the application at the VFS Global.
