An applicant whose application was been refused by the Embassy can appeal the decision within 3 weeks from the day the applicant was notified about the decision. The appeal must be sent to the Embassy.
The appeal must be in a written form, signed by applicant and indicate the decision you want to appeal. If you applied together with a spouse or other family members, each applicant must submit a separate signed appeal, or alternatively, all adult applicants may sign a joint appeal. For underage children, they should be included in the appeal submitted by their parent(s).
You may submit any additional documents that you find relevant for your appeal. Documents that were already submitted with your original visa application do not need to be resubmitted.
The appeal is reviewed by the Embassy and this process typically takes a few days. After the review, the appeal will be handed over to the Migration Court in Stockholm. If the Embassy reconsiders the initial decision and grants a Schengen visa, the Embassy will contact the applicant and provide further instructions regarding visa stamping.
If the applicant wants to contact the Migration Court in Stockholm, the contact details can be found at the following link:

Please note that there is no need to visit, call, or email the Embassy to follow up on your appeal. Such inquiries will not accelerate the process or influence the outcome.
